2 Chronicles 7:15 – “Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”

Please consider the following things in your prayers:

  • Give thanks and praise to God for his Grace, Mercy and Love.
  • All people who have lost hope and who are feeling discouraged.
  • The Trevor Hudson Mission (31 August – 2 September) – for people to encounter Jesus in a new way and for hardened hearts to be changed.
  • For the team from Wesley going on the Mission to Mtunzini next weekend (22nd-24th August) – that the Holy Spirit would equip every person sharing on the weekend and that God would use this time for His glory.
  • Those Christians who are being persecuted for their faith and who have lost loved ones during their time of trial. Pray especially for the church in Iraq, Pakistan, and other parts of the Middle East.
  • Pray against the crime and violence in our city and nation.
  • Pray for godly leaders to take a stand against corruption and abuse of power.
  • Pray for the on-going violence in Israel and Gaza. Pray for forgiveness and peace, on both sides.
  • Pray for the elderly and lonely in our community.
  • Pray against the abuse of women, children and immigrants in our land.
  • Pray for people struggling with terminal illnesses.
  • Pray for all Leaders at Wesley and other churches in PMB. Pray also for our Methodist Circuit 801. Pray for God to protect and guide these people as we seek to follow Jesus.
  • Pray for the Seminarians training at SMMS. Pray also for their leaders, especially Peter Grassow and Mvume Dandala.
  • Pray for the staff at Wesley and their families.
  • Pray for all those who have lost family members recently and for others who still mourn the death of loved ones.
  • Pray for the children, youth and young adults in our community.
  • Pray for people struggling with depression, anxiety, worry and stress.
  • Pray for our Church finances – that God would provide for our needs, so that we can be a community of blessing to others.
  • Pray for all students studying at various institutions.
  • Pray for yourself and your family.
